Prayer Before Reading

Heavenly Father,

Before I read another page, quiet my heart and turn my attention toward You. Remove every distraction that competes for my thoughts and help me hear Your voice above every other voice that seeks my attention.

Search me and reveal every place where I have trusted my own strength more than Your faithfulness. Expose every foundation that cannot stand and replace it with the solid Rock of Your truth.

Teach me to love Your Word more than temporary feelings, to seek Your presence more than emotional moments, and to pursue obedience even when no one else is watching. Let these pages become more than words on a screen. Let them become seeds planted deeply within my heart, producing faith, endurance, wisdom, and hope.

If I am weary, strengthen me. If I am discouraged, remind me of Your promises. If I am fearful, fill me with peace. If I have wandered, gently lead me back to You.

Help me build a life that remains steadfast when circumstances change, when prayers seem delayed, and when storms arise without warning. May my confidence rest not in what I feel but in who You are.

Create within me a heart that delights in prayer, treasures Scripture, walks in humility, and follows Jesus with unwavering devotion. Let every chapter draw me closer to the foundation that cannot be shaken.

May Your Spirit guide my understanding, transform my thinking, and produce lasting fruit in my life. When I reach the final page, may I know You more deeply than when I began.
