Years after the night that changed him, Dallas stood on the hill overlooking the town where his darkest memories lived. He did not stand there as a man ashamed of his past. He stood as a living testimony of what Jesus can do.
The path he once walked was filled with addiction, confusion, and double minded choices. Yet the Lord had rewritten his future with compassion stronger than his rebellion.
He remembered the man he used to be. The man who fought secret battles. The man who prayed for deliverance while returning to the things that destroyed him. The man who feared that God had grown tired of his weakness.
Jesus never withdrew His hand. He reached for Dallas repeatedly until the day Dallas said yes to freedom without turning back.
Now stability lived inside him because Jesus lived inside him. His home was filled with peace. His marriage to Noelle was a gift he once believed he did not deserve. His purpose had become clear.
He was no longer a double minded man. He was a man anchored in the name above every name. He was a man who learned that the greatest miracle is not simply being pulled out of darkness. The greatest miracle is learning to walk in the light and never look back.
Every time Dallas shared his story, he ended the story the same way:
"Jesus did not save me because I was strong. He saved me because He loved me."
