After weeks inside her cave season, Ashley noticed small changes. Peace slowly replaced panic. Silence no longer felt empty. Jesus was teaching her something beautiful. Healing often begins in hidden places.

Healing did not arrive suddenly. Healing arrived slowly like morning sunlight entering a dark room. Some days felt lighter. Other days still felt heavy. Yet throughout every moment Ashley sensed His wings surrounding her.

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Psalm 147:3

Ashley realized healing involved more than external wounds. Old disappointments still existed. Grief still existed. Fear still existed. She had spent years hiding pain behind smiles and strength. Jesus was showing her a different path.

Strength was not pretending everything felt fine. Strength was surrender. Strength was honesty. Strength was allowing Jesus into places she spent years protecting.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me... He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted." Isaiah 61:1

Ashley began writing every lie she believed. Then beside every lie she wrote scripture. Fear met truth. Shame met truth. Failure met truth. Slowly every lie lost power.

She also noticed changes physically. Sleep came easier. Peace stayed longer. Smiles became genuine. Her body slowly released burdens carried for far too long.

"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." Psalm 91:1

The hidden place was no longer simply shelter. The hidden place became preparation. God was rebuilding strength beneath the surface.

To the reader walking through hidden healing:

Healing rarely happens all at once. Growth often happens quietly. God sees every tear, every prayer, and every hidden battle. Even when progress feels invisible, restoration remains unfolding beneath His wings.

Nothing about your hidden season is wasted.
