Introduction

Every church has a story. Some stories are written in stained glass windows that catch the morning light. Some are preserved in weathered hymnals whose pages still carry the fingerprints of generations long gone. Others survive in whispered conversations after service, in fellowship halls where recipes never change, and in sanctuaries where every pew has an unwritten history known only to the families who have occupied the same seat for decades.

Many of those stories deserve to be honored.

Communities built around faith have carried people through grief, celebrated births, prayed over sickness, and gathered around tables where strangers became family. Countless men and women loved God with remarkable sincerity and spent their lives believing they were protecting something sacred for the next generation.

The journey ahead is not an attack on faith. The journey ahead is an invitation to uncover a covenant that has always been greater than the customs surrounding it and a Jesus whose presence has always been wider than the boundaries people built in His name.
