Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled
Joey's Journey
Bradley Hobbs

John 14:1

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me."

Many hearts carry silent fears. Worry sometimes settles quietly beneath relationships, responsibilities, and everyday life. Joey discovered a lesson that transformed his heart. Peace never arrived through control. Peace grew through surrender and trust in Jesus.

This prayer was written for anyone carrying emotional weight, fear of losing people, anxiety over changing seasons, or the burden of trying to hold everything together.

A Prayer of Trust

Jesus,

Today I place every burden, every relationship, every fear, and every troubled thought into Your hands. My heart grows tired from carrying responsibilities that were never mine to hold.

Your Word says in John 14:1, "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me." Today I choose belief. Today I choose trust over fear and surrender over striving.

Please hold every person close to my heart. Watch over friends, family, and loved ones. Guard meaningful connections and give peace where distance or change appears.

Teach me to release worry and rest in Your presence. Teach me to love freely without fear. Strengthen my faith so my heart remains anchored in You.

Thank You for Your faithfulness, Your peace, and Your steady hand over every part of life.

In the name of Jesus,
Amen.
