Scripture:
“THE WICKED flee when no man pursues them, but the [uncompromisingly] righteous are bold as a lion.” Proverbs 28:1
Devotion:
Comfort often gets valued more than conviction. That pressure can quietly shape how people live, speak, and respond. Jesus calls His people into something higher, a life marked by courage, truth, and unwavering faith.
The early disciples were ordinary men with no status or power. Their boldness came from being filled with the Spirit of God. That same power turned their lives into a testimony that reached far beyond their own strength.
Boldness is not noise. Boldness is not pride. Boldness is steady conviction rooted in trust. A heart anchored in Jesus refuses to compromise, even when pressure rises.
Courage grows when confidence shifts away from self and rests fully in Christ. He goes before you. He stands with you. He strengthens you in moments where fear tries to take control.
A bold life looks like truth spoken with love, faith lived with consistency, and obedience chosen even when a cost is attached. Fire may surround you, yet fear does not have authority over you.
Every environment becomes an opportunity. Home, work, friendships, and community all become places where faith is seen, not hidden.
The call is clear. Do not shrink back. Rise with courage. Walk with strength. Shine with purpose.
Prayer:
Lord, place boldness within my heart that reflects You. Let my life stand firm in truth and move with courage in every situation. Strengthen me to remain steady when pressure rises and to speak with grace and conviction. Fill me with Your Spirit and lead me to live with fearless faith. In Jesus’ name, amen.
