Scripture:
“Casting the whole of your care, all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.” 1 Peter 5:7
Devotion:
Strength often gets defined as holding everything together. Pressure builds when emotions stay hidden and burdens remain unspoken. That weight can quietly become overwhelming.
Scripture reveals a different way. A way marked by honesty, surrender, and healing.
God never designed life to be carried alone. His invitation is clear. Bring every burden, every worry, every hidden struggle into His presence. His care is not distant. His care is personal, attentive, and constant.
Jesus Himself expressed deep sorrow in the garden. David poured out his heart in the Psalms. These moments were not weakness. These moments revealed trust. Surrender opens the door to healing.
Releasing what weighs on the heart changes everything. Walls come down. Healing begins. Peace starts to settle where anxiety once lived.
Strength is not found in control. Strength is found in surrender to the One who holds all things together.
You are not unseen. You are not alone. The One who formed you also sustains you.
Prayer:
Lord, You see every burden carried in silence. You understand every thought and every hidden weight. Teach me to surrender fully and trust Your care. Replace anxiety with peace and restore strength where weariness has settled. I place everything in Your hands and rest in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, amen.
