Devotion:
We often approach God like we need to convince Him to care. We think we must twist His arm or pray the “right way” for Him to finally move. But the truth is, God isn’t distant or hesitant. He’s a good Father, and good fathers don’t have to be begged to bless their children.
You don’t have to beg God for a move from Heaven. You just must believe.
He already wants to move. He already has a plan. His heart is already leaning toward you. Sometimes the biggest shift happens not when you scream louder, but when you trust deeper.
Your faith, or lack thereof, doesn’t manipulate God. It aligns you with what He’s already prepared.
When Jesus died, the veil was torn. That moment opened your way straight to God. You are not standing at a distance, hoping to be noticed. You have been brought near. You are a child, not a visitor, and what belongs to Him now belongs to you.
You do not have to plead for access or wait for permission. You are not asking for a move of God. You are already standing in it.
So, ask boldly. Expect faithfully. Move confidently. He’s already listening.
Prayer:
Father, thank You that I don’t have to beg for what You’ve already promised. Help me to trust Your heart, even when I don’t see the answer right away. Align my spirit with Heaven’s will and help me walk boldly in the authority You’ve given me as Your child. In Jesus’ name, amen.
