“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
“And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”

“Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.”
A Faith Born Through Hearing
The woman with the issue of blood carried years of suffering, rejection, weakness, and disappointment. Twelve years had stolen health, stability, finances, and dignity from her life. Every failed attempt at healing likely deepened hopelessness further.
Everything changed when she heard about Jesus.
What entered her ears awakened faith within her spirit. Romans reminds believers that faith grows through hearing the message of Christ. Hope began rising where despair once lived.
Faith often begins quietly within hearts desperate enough to believe Jesus still changes impossible situations.
Her circumstances remained painful outwardly. Something inwardly had already shifted toward trust.
The Reach of Faith
Weakness did not stop her from moving toward Jesus. Fear did not silence her desperation. Crowds did not block determination.
She believed that even touching the hem of His garment would be enough.
That moment reflected Hebrews 11:1 becoming visible through action. Faith became substance. Faith became evidence. Faith reached forward before visible healing appeared physically.
Jesus honored the faith behind the reach.
Power Still Flows from Jesus
The miracle did not come merely through physical touch alone. Many people surrounded Jesus physically that day. Transformation came through trust placed fully within Him.
Jesus stopped and called her “Daughter,” restoring more than physical healing alone. Identity, dignity, peace, belonging, and wholeness returned through that encounter.
The same Jesus who responded to desperate faith then still responds to sincere faith now.
Scripture reminds believers that Jesus remains unchanged yesterday, today, and forever. His compassion has not weakened. His authority has not faded. His power has not diminished.
Faith Reaches Beyond Fear
Many people carry burdens silently while wondering whether Jesus still sees their pain personally. Faith continues reaching toward Him even while answers feel delayed or uncertain.
Some prayers may feel fragile. Some moments of trust may feel small. Jesus still notices sincere faith.
Every reach toward Him matters.
“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
Healing may arrive spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, or through deep restoration unfolding gradually over time. Jesus remains faithful through every step.
Prayer
Lord, strengthen my faith during moments where uncertainty, fear, weakness, or disappointment try pulling my heart away from trust. Teach me to keep reaching toward You even while answers remain unseen. Remind me that Your power, compassion, and faithfulness never change. Let my life become rooted deeply within confidence that You still restore, heal, strengthen, and renew completely. In Jesus’ name, amen.
