“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.”
The workplace is more than just where we earn a paycheck. It is a powerful place of purpose. Whether in an office, classroom, hospital, shop, or at home, God calls us to bring His presence into every part of our work life.
Faith in the Small Things
Living out our faith at work does not require a title or a platform. It shows up in the small things: how we speak to others, how we handle pressure, and how we carry ourselves when no one is watching.
Every email, meeting, task, or conversation can become an opportunity to reflect Jesus.
Work as Worship
Being a disciple of Christ in the workplace means choosing excellence, walking in integrity, and treating every person with kindness and respect.
It means letting God’s Spirit guide our decisions, attitudes, and responses, especially when it is difficult or inconvenient.
Your work can be worship. Your attitude can be ministry. Your job can become a mission.
Prayer and purpose go hand in hand. Start your day by inviting God into your schedule, your relationships, and your responsibilities.
Let His peace shape how you lead, follow, serve, and speak. You may be the only glimpse of Christ someone sees today.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the work You’ve placed in my hands. Help me to honor You through every task and interaction. Let my life reflect Your light and love in the way I serve others. Make my workplace a space of peace, purpose, and integrity. Use me to be an example of Your goodness, wherever I go. In Jesus’ name, amen.
