Victory

You Should've Killed Me
When You Had the Chance

Psalm 118:17

← Return to Victory

“I shall not die, but live, and shall declare the works and recount the illustrious acts of the Lord.”

Psalm 118:17 AMPC

There was a time when the enemy thought your story was over. He attacked your mind, your faith, your voice, your calling, and your hope. He whispered that you would never recover, never heal, and never fulfill God's purpose for your life.

Yet here you are.

Still breathing. Still believing. Still praising. Still standing because the hand of God never left you.

What the Enemy Meant for Defeat

The enemy sought to silence your testimony before it could ever be spoken. He wanted disappointment to become your identity and suffering to become your destination. But God specializes in turning graves into gardens and broken stories into powerful testimonies.

Every battle you survived became another reason to praise Him. Every tear became another reminder of His faithfulness. Every scar now tells the story of a Savior who refused to abandon you.

Your Testimony Has Power

God did not preserve your life merely so you could survive. He preserved you so you could declare His goodness. Your testimony carries hope for those who are still fighting the battles you've already walked through.

The places where you once struggled may now become the very places where God uses you to strengthen someone else. What once felt like your greatest weakness has become a platform for His glory.

The enemy attacked your purpose, but God preserved your testimony.

Live to Declare His Works

Your life is evidence that God's grace is greater than every attack. Continue praising Him. Continue serving Him. Continue telling others what He has done. Every time you speak of His faithfulness, darkness loses ground and Christ is glorified.

You are not defined by what tried to destroy you. You are defined by the One who rescued you, restored you, and continues to sustain you each day.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for preserving my life when I could not preserve myself. Thank You for carrying me through every battle, every heartbreak, and every moment when I thought I would not make it. Let my life continually declare Your goodness and Your mighty works. Give me courage to share my testimony so others may find hope in You. May everything I say and do point people to Jesus Christ, who alone deserves all glory, honor, and praise. In Jesus' name, amen.
