Thank you for taking the time to visit this website. Every page of Changed was written with one purpose in mind: to point people toward Jesus Christ and encourage them to experience the transforming power of His grace. This book is deeply personal because it comes from my own journey of faith, including the experience of being autistic, feeling different, being misunderstood, and learning that my identity does not have to be defined by the expectations of other people.
Being different has been part of my story for as long as I can remember. As an autistic person, I have experienced the world in ways that other people have not always understood. There have been times when I struggled to explain how I think, how I process things, or why certain situations affected me differently than they seemed to affect everyone else. Those experiences have sometimes left me feeling misunderstood or alone, but they have also taught me something important: being different does not mean being forgotten by God.
The heart of Changed is not that Jesus needs to make me less autistic or make me become someone I was never created to be. The change I am talking about is deeper than that. Jesus changes the heart. He changes our priorities, our desires, our responses, our obedience, and the way we love Him and other people. He teaches us that our identity is found in Him rather than in the opinions, expectations, or misunderstandings of the people around us.
That is part of why the message behind Changed became so personal to me. The song Different by Micah Tyler caused me to think deeply about the difference between simply being different and actually being changed by Jesus. I already knew what it meant to be different. What I needed to understand was what it meant to allow Jesus Christ to transform me from the inside out.
If this book has encouraged your faith, challenged your heart, answered a question, or simply reminded you that God is still working, I would truly enjoy hearing your story. Some of the greatest encouragement I receive comes from seeing how God continues using His Word long after the final page has been read.

Why I Welcome Every Message
Writing has never been about publishing a book or simply adding another title to my name. It has always been about pointing people toward Jesus Christ. Every email, testimony, and conversation is another reminder that God continues working in people's lives long after the final chapter has been read.
If Changed has encouraged your walk with Christ, challenged your thinking, strengthened your faith, or helped you see the Lord in a new way, I would sincerely enjoy hearing your story. Your testimony may become the encouragement someone else needs tomorrow, especially someone who feels different or misunderstood and needs to know that God has not forgotten them.
I also welcome invitations for church services, Bible studies, Christian education events, podcasts, interviews, conferences, book discussions, and other ministry opportunities where the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be shared. My desire is not to draw attention to myself, but to use my story and my experiences to point people toward the One who has changed my life.
A PERSONAL NOTE
You Matter To God
Perhaps you know what it feels like to be different from the people around you. Perhaps you have been misunderstood because of the way you think, communicate, process the world, or respond to situations. Perhaps you have spent years trying to fit into expectations that never seemed to fit you. Whatever your story may be, I want you to remember that being different does not make you less valuable, and being misunderstood does not mean that God does not understand you.
There have been times when I have felt overlooked and misunderstood myself. My autism is part of my story, but it is not the whole story. My struggles are part of my journey, but they are not my identity. My identity is found in Jesus Christ, and I have learned that I do not have to become someone else in order to be loved by Him.
God has not forgotten you. He sees what others may never see, He knows what you may struggle to explain, and He understands the places in your heart that you may not know how to put into words. Through Jesus Christ, there is still grace for you, purpose for you, and an invitation to walk with Him.

Different Does Not Mean Forgotten
One of the truths I hope Changed leaves with every reader is that being different does not place you outside the reach of God's love. You do not have to pretend to be someone else to come before Jesus. You can come to Him honestly, with your questions, your struggles, your weaknesses, your experiences, and your entire story.
Jesus does not ask us to build our identity around the approval of other people. He calls us to know Him, trust Him, follow Him, and allow Him to transform our hearts. That transformation may look different in every person's life, but the One doing the transforming remains the same.
If you ever find yourself wondering whether you belong, whether your story matters, or whether God can truly use someone who feels different, I hope you will remember the message at the heart of this book. You are not required to become someone else to have value. You are invited to become more like Jesus Christ.
